Inspirational Breathing practitioner (2024)

Let me start by sharing a bit about my own journey to holistic well-being. Like many, my path began with a keen interest in nutrition and how the foods we eat impact our health.

After completing my studies at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2011, I was equipped with valuable knowledge as a Naturopathic Nutritionist.

But it wasn't until I discovered breathwork six years ago that I truly unlocked the keys to profound mind-body healing. Extensive training with Inspirational Breathing opened me up to a whole new dimension of self-awareness and personal growth.

Through my work with clients and my own experiences, I've come to truly appreciate the intricate connection between nutritional balance and emotional well-being.

The two are inextricably linked – nurturing one nurtures the other. This realisation is at the heart of my integrative approach.

For you, this might look like a personalised nutrition plan to address any physical imbalances or you may want to couple it with breathwork's incredibly powerful techniques for processing stored emotions, trauma, and limiting beliefs.

On my own journey, learning about nutrition helped me manage my autoimmune thyroid condition (Hashimoto's).

But breathwork?

That's what allowed me to finally release years of pent-up emotions, find more lightness, and cultivate unshakable resilience during life's ups and downs.

I've experienced the transformative benefits first hand, and I'm excited to guide you through this illuminating process of aligning your whole self – body, mind, and spirit.

Success Story...

"Jo has been my breath work practitioner for the past five months and the progress I have made has been nothing short than life changing. I have suffered horrendous panic attacks for years that would often last up to an hour. As a result, I became so fearful of anything to do with my breath I couldn't even do a simple box breathe.

Before our first session Jo met with me to discuss my fears and explained how our sessions would work. Her supportive, kind and warm nature held me through our first session and she immediately taught me how to regulate my breath when I was about to enter a panic attack. Since then, Jo has supported me to become confident with my breath, taking our sessions at a pace that nourishes me and supports me, and I have been able to practice breath work independently at home.

This has served me many times since and has prevented me entering a panic attack and enabled me to self-regulate within moments. I have also experienced incredible emotional releases that have enabled me to feel lighter, freer, happier and genuinely the strongest I have ever felt in my life. What Jo has given me through her expertise is an absolute gift, her sessions haven't just taught me how to breathe properly for the first time in my life, but her support and love has been incredibly healing.

For anyone on the fence, I know how scary it can be, especially if you suffer with anxiety, but I would encourage you to just have a conversation."
